yes. the files are displayed correctly when I'm looking at them in dreamweaver cs6, but not when i preview them in IE.

You don't have to put the entire site. If you follow Ken's instructions, you can safely highlight and right click sucky.htm and sucky.css and put those files only from the Files window.
